?The Entrepreneurship Center complements and enhances entrepreneurial education at UMass Boston, providing hands-on practice and experience in building start-up businesses and entrepreneurial careers. The EC provides workshops, events, and one on one mentoring with a significant entrepreneur advisory board in order to help students interested in launching their own businesses or launching their careers in start-up companies in the greater Boston area.

Within the EC, we have the Student Entrepreneurship Program (StEP) which connects students with paid internships in sales, marketing, software development, quality assurance, IT support, and finance in many of the best high tech start-ups in Massachusetts.? www.umb.edu/entrepreneurship_Center

  • Flyer Creation
  • Classroom and curriculum support
  • Administrative Assistance

Qualifications

  • Marketing education focus
  • IT education focus
  • CRM and email marketing proficiency
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, and Adobe
  • Practical work experience with Web Design and Content
  • Working knowledge of Social Media Marketing, Internet Marketing, Email Marketing SEO, and Web analytics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy, driven, un-entitled, self-starter, handles adversity and ambiguity, requires minimal supervision, and seeks responsibility and ownership.

Package

  • 10 hours per week ? Fall and Spring Semester
  • $14 per hour
  • Immediate start date
  • Located in the Venture Development Center on the 3rd floor of Wheatley Hall

International Students
Are eligible to apply for this position as it is on the UMass Campus, and will not require CPT authorization. International Students may enroll in the Practicum course if they want, as it will count as an internship.
